Bishnu Thapa (Raju)

I have been working as a Bird Guide and wildlife safari guide since 1999, and as an alpine guide for the last three years. I find my work very fulfilling and enjoyable. Being a guide is the best way, for me, to find the beauty in differences, for I meet people from various cultural backgrounds, philosophies and languages. The guiding prfession has greatly influenced my way of seeing the world in positive way.

Santa Chaudhari

I have been working as a senior nature guide in Bardia National Park since 1999. I find my work to be very fulfilling and enjoyable. I believe it is the best way to explore the magical nature. I was born at the edge of the National Park and grew up listening to the sounds of birds. I am know wildlife and vegetation of the park by heart. What I enjoy most is observing colours, habits and habitats of birds and Royal Bengal tiger.

Prem Thapa

I began my guiding career in 1994 as an Assistant Nature Guide at Royal Chitwan National Park.  After a year of work as an Assistant, I under went full Guide Training through the King Mahendra Trust for Nature Conservation and Royal Chitwan National Park.  From 1996, I began extending my activities to include the alpine and trans-himalayan regions of my country.  In 1998 I completed my Trekking Guide training (a 6 week course) through His Majesty's Government of Nepal achieving an "A" level rating.   Both, the nature and culture of my country are very close to my heart and clear in my mind.
